Looking your Best!
It is often said a picture is worth a thousand words. Therefore my goal is to make those thousand words great ones. There are a few tips and tricks you can do to help you look your best.
1. If you would like to look smaller when taking a photo with your man don't stand in front of your him. If you are in front of him, make sure the camera is to the side so your faces are on the same plane to the camera lens. When a woman is in front of her man just a hair it will make her look larger.
2. Giggle. Every time someone takes your photo, giggle a little bit. Even if it is fake. Just by making a noise you’ll get there. They’re different set of muscles with your laugh muscles and your smiling ones
3. Try to look up. If you can make it so the photographer is above you. Even the skinny’s get double chins when the photographer is below them.
4. Always face towards the light. If you are outside don’t face into the shade, face into the light. You will look better every time.
5. My absolute best advice is to have fun and smile a lot!
6. Come to the shoot completely dressed and ready to go. (Make-up, Shoes, hair,..etc..)
7. Enjoy your day! The more “into” your day you are the better your photos will come out. Leave the stress behind. Have fun!

What to wear!
I'm often asked for clothing ideas, so here is a guide to help you coordinate your outfits.

-
Coordinate, but don't stress for everything to be match perfectly. Gone are the days of matching t-shirts and jeans.
-
I try to suggest that the woman (especially mom if it's a family session) choose an outfit she feels confident and beautiful in. Then plan the color palette and everyone else's outfits from there.
-
A beautifully simple, flowy dress is always a great choice.
-
If the session will be held outdoors, keep our location and time of year in mind when choosing your clothing.
-
Over all, be sure to wear clothes that represent you and that you feel comfortable
